This unique white blend showcases the art of superior winemaking and vineyard management. This 'super' blend of Chardonnay, Semillon, Pinot Gris and Riesling underwent partial barrel fermentation in premium French oak cooperage followed by 18 months of bottle ageing. Aromas of apple, pear and toasty oak harmonize with perfectly balanced flavours of peach, vanilla and toasted nuts leading to a creamy softness on the palate. Only 150 cases produced.

Pair with seafood, creamy pastas, roasted chicken and assorted cheeses.

The grapes were grown in our Similkameen Vineyard in Cawston and our Sunrise Vineyard in Okanagan Falls. The 2005 season started out with a cool and wet spring which resulted in a smaller yield with fewer berries. This was followed by a really nice and warm Okanagan summer perfect for good ripening. September and October was cooler which provided us with good acidity and allowed for fruit flavours to intensify and fully develop. A vintage with good concentration. The different varietals were carefully hand-harvested during the period of October 16th to October 25th.

A blend of 30% Chardonnay, 30% Semillon, 20% Pinot Gris and 20% Riesling. After harvest the grapes were gently whole-cluster pressed, which enabled us to harness the intense fruit flavours and aromas. The Chardonnay, Semillon, Pinot Gris and Riesling were partially barrel fermented, blended and then bottle aged for 18 months. A well balanced, interesting and full-bodied white with a wonderful creamy finish.

"With any blend, it takes time and energy to make a wine where good balance is created between richness, depth and acidity. A very unique blend of varietals makes for a unique wine, and I believe we have achieved that. A ‘stand out’ wine you will truly remember."
