T A S T I N G   N O T E S

This wine displays aromas of black cherries, honey and toffee on the nose. Caramel, currants, stewed rhubarb and spice exhilarates the palate. A lingering finish with great acidity balance. Serve chilled.

Divine  with berry based desserts or chocolate.

H A R V E S T   N O T E S

The grapes come from our Similkameen Vineyard in Cawston and from our Sunrise Vineyard in Okanagan Falls. 2002 was a much later icewine harvest than usual for the Okanagan. Temperatures did not drop down to the freezing conditions needed until the end of January. When harvesting icewine this late the berries are much more shriveled and concentrated than earlier harvested grapes.
