Produced from our estate grown grapes this slightly off-dry, unoaked white wine displays lively aromas and flavours of cantaloupe, pear, green apple and a touch of honey. A fresh, crisp white with a long refreshing finish.

Pair with grilled seafood and seasonal salads.

G R O W I N G    C O N D I T I O N S

The grapes come from our Similkameen Vineyard in Cawston and Sunrise Vineyard in Okanagan Falls. 2009 started off with a cold snap in January which caused some vine damage and resulted in crop numbers to be down from the previous year. Following this we had a slow start to the season, however, a hot, dry summer that carried right through into September created optimal growing conditions which brought with it great fruit ripeness including sugar and acid levels where we wanted them. The early October frost did damage only to the vine leaves, not the grapes. Another great harvest year!

The grapes were whole-cluster pressed to extract as much flavour as possible. The pressed juice then went through a cool ferment in 100% stainless steel, which helped preserve the fruit and varietal character of the berries.
